We stayed at Bertha Creek campground in our motorhome. It's a small campground off of the Seward Highway with opportunities to pan for gold. We didn't end up in exactly the right place to pan for gold (there's zero cell service so I should have printed off maps BEFORE we left) but we still ended up with a few flakes! Pretty exciting stuff. Plus the setting was absolutely gorgeous which doesn't hurt either.
