We took our motorhome camping at the Matanuska River Park in Palmer. The upper level has lawn RV sites with some hookups, we stayed in the lower part with no hookups but a pretty, wooded setting. There's lots of trails winding through the campground and we eventually found our way down to the river where we had to drag the girls away from throwing rocks into the water.
