This is one of my favorite places to visit no matter the season. It's at the end of Scout Ridge Trail Rd in Wasilla (Scout Ridge also being a fun hike). In the winter I definitely recommend ice grippers for both trails! This trail is marked with fiberglass markers but obviously when it's icy you can pretty much go wherever you'd like.
