North Fork Eagle River Trail
The North Fork Eagle River trail is off of Eagle River Road towards the Eagle River Nature Center. It's a marked right turn into the trailhead parking lot. We went with Hike It Baby on a Easter rock hunt. The hike is a fun, easy 1 mile roundtrip walk through the woods to the north fork of the Eagle River. The trail is wide and graveled until you get to the river. If you decided to explore further, there's muddy spots and exposed roots. The trail is surrounded by marshy areas and I got my first mosquito bite (and kill) of the year so I will definitely be bringing bug spray next time we go.
