Arctic Valley Berry Picking

Arctic Valley is a popular spot for berry pickers, being just minutes from Anchorage or Eagle River. There is a fee to park at the ski resort and gates close at 10pm, so you know, no midnight sun berry picking unless you want to be there all night. We found an abundance of crowberries and a few blueberries. The wildflowers alone were worth the drive!
